Technical Sessions

WCNC 2004 presents 470 technical papers selected by peer review from over 1000 submissions representing the best in wireless research and design.. As multimedia-oriented 3G cellular mobile, very high speed WLAN (wireless LAN), and new fixed wireless systems are being introduced, the theme and focus of this conference is broadband wireless communication technologies, systems, and services. Theory and practice are inseparable as researchers and developers evolve ways to use spectrum more efficiently, interoperate different air interfaces and networking systems, utilize both infrastructure and ad-hoc networking techniques, support multimedia QoS (quality of service), and exploit the newest coding, detection, and bandwidth-spreading technologies.
